Delete your NutriBalance account
NutriBalance: Calorie Counter · Last updated: 26 September 2026
You can delete your NutriBalance account and its data at any time, on Android or iPhone. You don't need to contact us, and you don't need an active subscription.
Option 1: delete it in the app (fastest)
- Open NutriBalance and sign in.
- Tap the Profile tab.
- Tap the settings (gear) icon at the top of the screen.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.
Option 2: ask us by email
If you can no longer sign in to the app, email [email protected] with the subject Account Deletion Request. Send it from the email address you signed up with, or include that address in the message. We'll delete the account and confirm by email within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Google Play or the App Store, so cancel yours there first: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
What is deleted
These are permanently removed from our servers as soon as the account is deleted:
- Your account profile: email address, name, sign-in details, body stats and goals
- Food, weight and water logs, and daily summaries
- Saved meals and custom foods
- Streaks, XP, pet and game progress, friends and leaderboard entries
- In-app activity records tied to your account, including rewarded-ad credits
What is kept, and for how long
- Backups. Copies of deleted data can remain in our encrypted database backups until those backups rotate out, within 30 days.
- Billing record. If you had an active or recent subscription, we keep a minimal record (your email, account ID, plan and expiry date) so that payments still arriving from Google Play or the App Store can be reconciled and refunded. It is kept only as long as needed for accounting and tax purposes.
- Payment history held by Google Play or Apple. Google and Apple keep their own purchase records. We don't control these.
- Crash reports. These don't contain your name or email address, and they expire automatically within 90 days.
- Advertising data. If you used the free version with ads, Google holds data tied to your device's advertising ID, not to your NutriBalance account. You can reset or delete that ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads, or turn off tracking on iPhone under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. See how Google uses advertising data.
Deletion is permanent. Your logs and progress can't be recovered, and signing up again with the same email starts a new, empty account.
