These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the NutriBalance mobile application ("App") and related services operated by NutriBalance ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms.

1. Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

NutriBalance Premium is offered as an auto-renewable subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's account settings at any time after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Current pricing: $12.99 AUD/month or $94.99 AUD/year (7-day free trial available on both plans). Prices may vary by region and are subject to change.

2. Use of the App

You may use the App for personal, non-commercial nutrition tracking purposes. You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
Use the App to transmit harmful, unlawful, or abusive content
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
Resell or redistribute access to the App or its premium features

3. Health & Medical Disclaimer

The App provides general nutrition information and calorie estimates for informational purposes only. Calorie targets are calculated using the Mifflin-St Jeor equation (Mifflin et al., 1990, Am J Clin Nutr) with standard activity multipliers and are not medical advice. Individual nutritional needs vary. Consult a qualified healthcare provider before making significant changes to your diet or exercise regimen, especially if you have a medical condition.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by NutriBalance and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NutriBalance shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings → Delete Account).

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Australia.
